Mission and Vision

Sandy Oates worked in the oil and gas industry for over 25 years and travelled around the globe solving oil production and waste water treatment challenges.  The companies he worked for focused on solving water quality problems with specialty chemicals such as flocculants, coagulants and de-oilers. 

He became dissatisfied with this approach as these treatment chemicals often performed poorly, caused other issues with downstream equipment, and ultimately ended up in the environment with the discharged water.

Sandy's mission and vision is to seek out and commercialize technology that can be used to solve water treatment challenges without the use of specialty chemicals.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (1995).  He lives in St. John's with his wife and three sons.
